North park is located northeast of Balboa Park and is enclosed on the north by El Cajon Boulevard, on the south by the South Park neighborhood, and on the east by Interstate 805 and City Heights, and on the west by Hillcrest. North Park is composed of an assorted array of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Most of these shops can be found on the main streets of 30th Street and University Avenue. The largest and longest running artwalk takes place in North Park and is called Ray at Night. It is held the second Saturday of every month. North Park also has a farmers market, featuring independent local vendors, every Thursday and is located in the parking lot on University and 32nd Street.
The Madge Bradley building is located on 1409 Fourth Avenue and hears probate cases among others. This is the courthouse available to residents of Northpark that are dealing with probate and estate needs.
