Chula Vista, California
With a population of more than 225,000 residents, Chula Vista is the second largest community in San Diego. Chula Vista experienced huge growth during and after World War II. With the relocation of Rohr Aircraft Corporation to the area, Chula Vista’s landscape was permanently altered, especially after the attack on Pearl Harbor and America’s entrance into the war. Because so many of the servicemen and factory workers stayed in Chula Vista after the war, the area had to accommodate to this population and various schools, restaurants, and shopping centers were opened in the area. Points of interest in Chula Vista include the OnStage Playhouse and the Chula Vista Nature Center.
The courthouse that Chula Vista residents are covered by is called the Madge Bradley Building and is located on 1409 Fourth Ave in San Diego. The business office at this location is on the third floor and the courthouse hears both probate and family law cases.
