Valley Center, California
Valley Center is a community in San Diego County that is in alteration. It has become less of a rural town and more of a suburban community. Even with expected population growth, the town can still be characterized as “semi-rural.” Some of this expansion in Valley Center can be accredited to the development of Indian casinos in the area. Currently the main casinos in Valley Center include Harrah’s Rincon and Valley View. Both have brought jobs to what used to be a secluded agricultural town. On the other hand they have also brought traffic. Despite these developments, there are currently no chain stores in Valley Center.
The North County Regional Center is the courthouse that Valley Center residents would most likely use. The North County Superior Court is a full service branch court and most of the operations and departments which are functional at the main courthouse in downtown San Diego are also operating at this branch. Among other cases, this court hears family law, probate, appeal, and adoption cases. The facility is located on 325 South Melrose in Vista.
