National City, California
National City is one of the oldest cities in San Diego County and has a historic past. Originally, National City was used by Spanish soldiers to graze horses. After the area gained independence from Spain, President Andrew Johnson issued a land patent, and listed the name as “The National Ranch.” National City is surrounded by San Diego to the north and northeast, Bonita to the southeast, and Chula Vista to the south. The San Diego Bay lies to the immediate west of National City and the city is 15 minutes away from the United States and Mexico border.
The Madge Bradley Building on 1409 Fourth Avenue in San Diego services residents of National City. This courthouse hears probate cases as well as family law cases pertaining to divorce and restraining orders.
